The name of the street indicates the presence of a spring, located just outside the wash house here on the left ; we can see the water flowing from the basin holding the spring water, into the actual wash house. As of today March 13, 1013, the walls of the wash house itself on the road-side (behind us) are in need of repairs, and new steps are also needed, at the moment being redone to come down in from the street.
