The six airmen killed have been buried since July 5th 1944 in the cemetery at Laons (Eure-et-Loir): William Baird aged 20, Thomas Jenkins aged 21, Robert Longley aged 22, James Marler aged 32, Donald Wilson aged 23 and William Winder aged 21.

In 1924, the village of Laons (Eure-et-Loir) commissioned this stained glass window in memory of the soldiers who fell in the First World War. It was made by the Lorin workshops in Chartres.
