Chapel of the counts of Hespel d'Hocron.- The counts of Hespel were a large family from Wallerand Hespel, 1st of the line since 1495. They owned land in the districts of Weppes, Carembaut, Ferrain, Pévèle, Mélantois , in Artois and in the Chatellenie de Courtrai.
