His body is covered with smallish spots or circles, and with straight lines in many directions. Henri Breuil interprets it as a bear wounded with arrow shots that looks like it's vomiting blood. Total length : 60 cm (23.6 in).

Engraving on cave wall known as "le petit sorcier à la flûte" (small shaman playing the flute") or "petit sorcier à l'arc musical" ("... musical bow"). Reproduction par Henri Breuil (1930). This picture has often been used to "demonstrate" prehistoric music, but a recent study shows that it more likely is a man walking on his hands and knees (among other clues is the orientation of the tail of the animal skin that covers the figure).
