Monument to Liberty: The Obelisk of Combas, of Masonic inspiration, was erected after the War of 1870. It is crowned by a Marianne holding in one hand the tricolour flag, symbol of Light and Progress, which she looks at to show the way forward, with the other she holds an architect's square symbolising the necessary reconstruction of the Nation in Justice and Equity. par Daniel VILLAFRUELA (CC BY-SA 3.0)
