Crypte van de kerk Saint-Hilarion te Duravel, Lot, Midi-Pyrénées, France 2010. De romaanse kerk zelf, XIe eeuw, werd gebouwd op de fundamenten van de vorige basiliek Saint-Etienne uit de VIIIe / IXe eeuw, die een crypte bevatte. Deze crypte valt moeilijk te dateren. Men neemt aan dat dit voor Frankrijk zeldzame pre-romaans bouwwerk uit de VIIIe eeuw stamt. Eind XIe eeuw werd de crype bijgewerkt. Na de bouw van de huidige kerk - boven de crypte - werden de relikwieën van drie heiligen (Hilarion, Poémon en Agathon) - kluizenaars uit Egypte en Palestina - waarschijnlijk eerst bijgezet in deze crypte. Ze werden overgebracht van de abdij Saint-Pièrre van Moissac, die deze relikwieën zelf had ontvangen van Karel de Grote. In 1095 kregen ze hun huidige plaats in een sarcofaag achter het hoofdaltaar. Op 21 oktober, om de 5 jaar (tijdens de jaren eindigend op 0 of 5) zijn ze daar te bezichtigen.
